I remember playing the demo of this game and when I got to the end of the demo I decided to leave this game and come back after a while, And after waiting for so long I decided to come back and see how the game was doing only to find out that the game is abandoned and the creator of said game is most probably dead, Needless to say I feel shitty

You all shouldn't be throwing stones and giving up hope with such haste. Perhaps HonHonMaid is still out there, alive and fighting for his country, but homeless and computer-less until further notice.
Because if his home has been indeed bombarded, needless to say that in all due logic nothing remains for him to work on the video-game. Besides, that wouldn't be a priority at all when the sworn enemy is at the gates.
All we can do is hope for the best.

"Throwing stones" makes it sound like people are angry or attacking the dev for possibly dying in a warzone, which isn't what's happening. People are lamenting the fact that he likely either didn't survive or is no longer capable of development and won't be for a long while.

the author is Ukrainian as fall if i can tell. there is no new updates on the discord server. Boosty is a russian site but who can confirm that it's the real him since it's unknown where he is other then the war...

It makes sense a Ukrainian would use a Russian site anyway, for a very long time they were basically a sattelite of Russia, it wasn't until Russia started pushing the line that they decided to fuck off and try to join NATO (and look how Putin reacted to that. What an abuser, I hope they fight him off.)

people have been trying for like 2 years man. early 2022 had a LOT of people recruited into the ukranian army, i think it's likely he enlisted as well. where he's at? we probably won't know for a while, or forever. needless to say, we don't know when we'll know if he's coming back, ever.
